Events That Bring Us Together

Join us throughout the year for events that bring us together and help support Bullis. The Institutional Advancement Team coordinates several additional events which are a great way to get involved and have fun.

August

New Parent Reception

Each year, parents of new Bullis students are warmly welcomed at the New Parents Reception, where they have a chance to meet and chat with the Head of School, school administrators, faculty and staff, and other Bullis parents.

October

Homecoming

Bullis Homecoming is a full week of themed dress days, Bullis spirit activities, games, and athletic events capped off by a Pep Rally, Bullympics, Varsity football, a cookout, Alumni events, and fun for the entire community!

January

Wine Tasting

An evening reception for the Bullis community when fine wines are donated to create the “Bullis Wine Cellar” offered for auction at the Gala.

Bullis Gala

The biggest event of the year, this themed celebration features an evening of exciting silent and live auctions, with items and opportunities donated by the Bullis community. Our Gala is a major component of the School’s fundraising effort, and succeeds each year through parent generosity and volunteerism.

Head of School Reception

Each spring, the Head of School hosts an event to honor and thank the donor and volunteer leaders who have given generously to Bullis during the school year. Among those in attendance, a few are chosen each year to receive special awards: Philanthropist of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and the William F. Bullis Benefactor Award.
