Winter 2025-26 After School Enrichment Program Information
Bullis’ Enrichment Programs offer students the opportunity to explore interests beyond the classroom through hands-on after-school clubs, athletics, and group activities, led by expert providers.
Chess
Grades: K - 5
Day & Time: Mondays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Dates: 1/12, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16 (8 weeks, no school 1/19, 2/16)

Provider: Silver Knights Chess Academy
Description:
Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy, formerly Magnus Chess Academy! We’ve taught 100,000 children to play, including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to have fun. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games, covering everything from basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Description:
DEILAB (Design, Engineering, Innovation Lab) ignites students' imaginations and challenges critical thinking. LEGO Creators explores the foundations of engineering through head-to-head design projects like skyscrapers, racecars, and battle robots. Students experience the thrill of leading and innovating while enhancing analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
School of Magic

Description:
Students explore magic with School of Magic Arts! Learn prop-building, sleight of hand, and stage illusions while mastering the eight types of magic: production, vanish, transportation, transformation, levitation, animation, solid through solid, and tear/restore. A final magic show showcases students’ progress.
Minecraft Code – Harry Potter Adventure
Grades: 3 - 5

Description:
Learn to code while exploring an interactive Harry Potter world in Minecraft! Students take on quests, fight monsters, and cast spells. Projects include brewing potions, enchanting items, and learning Redstone basics. No prior coding or Minecraft experience required.
Flag Football
Grades: 2 - 5
Day & Time: Wednesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Description:
An hour of skills, drills, and scrimmages for players of all levels. Kids practice passing routes, defensive tactics, and in-game strategies while having fun. Coaches focus on improvement and enjoyment.
All-American Diner Challenge
Grades: K - 2
Day & Time: Wednesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Dates: 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4 (8 weeks)
Cost: $300 for 8 weeks
Provider: Tiny Chefs
Description:
Tiny Chefs get hands-on in the kitchen, creating diner-inspired dishes. Learn measuring, seasoning, plating, and experiment with a “secret ingredient” weekly. Students launch a hot cocoa stand fundraiser for a charity of their choice.

Description:
Fencing class for beginners and experienced students. Learn offensive/defensive tactics, posture, balance, and movement. Equipment included. Led by Tejav Safai, International and Nationally Certified Coach with 53 years of experience.
My First Hot Cocoa Stand
Grades: K - 2
Day & Time: Thursdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Description:
Students learn to make and sell hot cocoa while developing business skills. Activities include marketing, profit estimation, and recipe experimentation. Students launch a stand as a fundraiser for a charity of their choice.
