What Is the Bullis Extended Day Program?

Kindergarten - Grade 8

The Bullis Extended Day Program offers students in kindergarten through 8th grade a safe, supportive, and enriching environment after school. Students have the opportunity to complete homework, enjoy a snack, play with friends, and explore a variety of engaging enrichment programs—all under the guidance of caring and qualified staff. We invite you to explore our updated offerings, policies, and procedures for the upcoming year.

After School Programs

After Care

Bullis’ After Care program allows students to engage in outdoor play on the playground, have a snack, work on homework independently, and do arts and crafts projects.

After Care Hours & Location

Hours: Monday - Friday: *3:15 - 6:00 p.m.
Locations: Lower School Playground and Lower School Library

Fees

Advanced registration rate: $20 per student/day.
No reduction in fees will occur for an early pick-up.
Drop-in rate: $30 per student/day for any students that are not pre-registered.
Late Pick-up Fee: $2.00/minute after 6:00 p.m.

Registration: Families should sign up through CampBrain in advance to reserve their child’s spot.

Enrichment Programs

Bullis’ Enrichment Programs offer students the opportunity to explore interests beyond the classroom through hands-on after-school clubs, athletics, and group activities, led by expert providers.

Winter 2025-26 Enrichment Programs

Hours & Location

Hours*: Most enrichment activities will be offered once a week for an eight-week session from 3:30- 4:30 p.m.
Location:
- Lower School students will be brought to After Care at the end of the school day and will then be escorted to their activity at 3:30 p.m.
- Middle School students should meet at the Lower School Playground (or in the Lower School Library in inclement weather) and will be escorted to their activity from there.
Pick-up: Students should be picked up promptly at 4:30 p.m. at the Lower School Playground (Lower School Library in inclement weather).

Fees

Fee: Enrichment program fees vary. View the latest program list.
After care: Students needing additional care after 4:30 p.m. on the day of their activity may join After Care for no additional fee.

Registration: Advanced registration is required through CampBrain.

Homework Lab

Bullis’s Homework Lab program provides a quiet space for students to complete homework assignments independently.

Snacks will be provided.

Hours & Location

Hours*: Monday-Thursday, 3:30- 4:15 p.m.
Location: Lower School Library
Pick-up: 4:15 p.m. Students attending Homework Lab are expected to be picked up at 4:15 p.m. from the Lower School Library or late fees will be assessed.

Fees

Rate: $5 per student per day.
After Care is not included. If your child requires After Care, please pre-register to receive the advanced registration rate. Drop-ins are welcome at the drop-in rate.
Late Pick-Up Fee
- Late fee: Any late pick-ups will be subject to a charge of $15 per additional hour up to 6:00 p.m. and $2.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m.
- Parents must call the Extended Day cell phone number at 301-467-7396 if they are running late.
