Reflections on Resilience: Guest Speaker Sam Mihara's Journey from Heart Mountain to Hope

The Upper School Social Studies Department hosted Mr. Sam Mihara, a World War II Heart Mountain camp survivor, for a poignant educational visit funded by a Parents Association grant. His firsthand account highlighted the injustices faced by Japanese Americans, emphasizing the importance of learning from history to prevent this from happening in the future.

Joe Lee, Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year

The Washington Post selects the best of the best athletes from the D.C. area for each athletic season. Bullis has achieved top recognition in the 2023-2024 Winter Washington Post All-Met rankings, with 22 student-athletes, including Athlete of the Year and  Coach of the Year, making the elite list.
