Bus Service & Transportation
Bullis continues to improve our bus service for Bullis students, especially in light of COVID-19. Given the current recommendations and guidelines around transportation and physical distancing, it is more important than ever to have an accurate registration count for transportation needs.
- To efficiently manage our transportation needs, Bullis will only offer a full-year Round trip or One Way service (additional information on Activity Bus Service and registration forms for that service will be shared when it is available).
- Bullis offers morning and afternoon bus service to a wide variety of neighborhoods in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. Detailed information on bus routes, stops, and fees are mailed to Bullis families each summer.
- Bullis bus service and bus routes will be adapted to carry fewer students while observing safety measures and physical distancing.
Students and drivers will be required to wear masks while on the buses.
Seating will be limited to one student per seat, alternating window and aisle.
Siblings and family members will be allowed to sit together.
Students will be expected to maintain safe distances while engaging in any social interaction on the buses.
Windows will be open to outside air flow, and daily cleaning and sanitizing of buses will further ensure safe transportation.
Updated information regarding routes, times, and pricing is available in PowerSchool (formerly Haiku).
