The Lower School and K-12 STEM teams are once again hosting a "Make-O-Ween" event for Lower School students on October 31. We are seeking parents who want to assist with this event. Parents will help with setting up STEM tables and getting them ready for student activities, ensuring demonstrations are running smoothly and according to schedule, and replenishing supplies, if necessary, during the event. At the end of the event, parents will help with cleaning up the tables, sorting supplies and storing them. This is always such a fun event—we hope you can join us!

Bullis will host the fourth annual Grandparents' Zoom meeting with Head of School Christian Sullivan on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. It's a great opportunity for grandparents to speak with Christian and hear about their grandchildren's experiences at Bullis.

Invitations will be sent to grandparents via email. We hope you're able to join us!

The Bullis Community Art Exhibition showcases the creative works of community members, both faculty and parents. We welcome any drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, craft, mixed media, or other original works of art to be featured in the show, which will open on October 15, 2024. Any artworks may be submitted, as long as they are original, created by the artist, and appropriate for our K-12 audience. Register to participate!

The Parents Association will have a fall grants committee meeting to review applications from faculty for PA grants for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are available on Monday, October 14, from 8:15-11:00 a.m., and would like to volunteer to be on the grants committee, please sign up. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, October 9. The meeting will be in the BDC Boardroom.

The New Families Committee will host a fireside chat on Thursday, October 10, to provide families new to the community with the opportunity to ask questions about Bullis and meet other new families. The chat will take place at the fountain by Founders' Hall at 6:00 p.m. RSVP to attend!
