I love being around educators. As we share ideas, set goals, succeed and fail, there is an energy and compassion that is so motivating! The beautiful thing about working with students is that every day is different, challenging, and full of promise. Every child has different and unique abilities and it is our job to support them in knowing how they learn best and why. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a child to see their best self.

My philosophy and style emphasizes the creation of opportunities and challenges, where exploration and shared experiences happen throughout the day and across grades. Beyond academics, I am committed to helping our students become responsible, caring individuals who are ready to face life’s challenges. Committed educators possess the ability to come up with ways to make an experience exciting, intriguing, and/or laughable, quickly and with ease. They possess the ability to see the beauty and the adventure in an object or event and spark an interest and make connections.

Bullis is a place where everyone is appreciated and respected and as a truly passionate educator and mother, I feel blessed to be in the situation I am in right now. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Bullis faculty, staff, administrators and families as the Testing Coordinator and as a coach.
