I have always been involved with athletics, as a spectator, an athlete or a coach. Starting at a young age sports should be fun for every participant. Middle school athletics should foster that within each team, and focus on sportsmanship, teamwork and school spirit as most important. Having a strong athletic foundation by the time students leave middle school will help our upper school teams to thrive.
