Kerry Wisnosky to Lead the Head Search Committee
Posted 12/13/2018 04:05PM

Dear Bullis Community,

Before we head off for a well-deserved break, we wanted to share some news about the search for the next Head of School at Bullis.

Hiring the next Head of School is the most significant responsibility the Board of an Independent School undertakes. Leading Bullis is a terrific opportunity, and we will draw candidates who will build on our outstanding foundation. They will be inspired by our excellent academic programs, this warm community, as well as our robust athletics and rich visual and performing arts.

We have much to accomplish before we welcome our next Head to lead Bullis. I have asked Kerry Wisnosky to lead the Head Search Committee. He has agreed, and this process is in good hands. Kerry has assembled an excellent team, made up of Trustees, a faculty member, and Bullis parents.

We are underway and evaluating nationally renowned Head of School search consultants and will select a partner by the end of January. The search will continue in 2019, and we will seek input from our entire community: parents, teachers, students, staff, and alumni. Your support and participation in this endeavor, as always, is deeply appreciated. The future of Bullis is bright, in large part thanks to your dedication to this school.

I wish you a warm and restful break.

Sincerely,

Pat Caulfield
Chairman of the Board of Trustees
