Teaching language and literature has been my passion for the last 19 years. I have worn various hats throughout the years, but I continue to be fascinated by inquiry-based learning, differentiation and global and local perspectives in education. I have thoroughly enjoyed working as a teacher in the US and abroad.
Building relationships with students is the cornerstone of good teaching. It is our job to get to know them at different levels, not only academically, but personally and socially as well. I strive to make my students critical thinkers and lifelong learners. I like to challenge them with thought-provoking questions at the beginning of class and ask them to reflect on their learning at the end.
