Montgomery County Boat Program History

Montgomery Boat Club was formed in 2015 in partnership with the existing Churchill Crew Club.Rowers participate from Bullis School, St. Andrews, The Heights, The Lab School, Wootton, Sherwood and St. Anselm’s.MBC exists due to the desire to broaden and expand the Club’s mission to a wider range of Maryland high school rowers in Montgomery County.

MBC is a competitive, all-year-round, co-ed club team that competes under the auspices of US Rowing, the national governing body for the sport of crew, and the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Rowing Association (WMIRA), the local governing body.
