I first came to Bullis in 7th grade after our family moved back to the area from living in Tunisia. We were here for two years and then our family moved to Dubai. We returned in 11th grade. I love living overseas, traveling and exploring cultures. I would like to study overseas for college and live there.
What do I like about Bullis? I love the people here. I first came after school had already started for the year, and everyone was so open and friendly and swept me into the community.
There are amazing opportunities here. I tried out for sports that I could not have done elsewhere.
The teachers are nice and helpful, and provide so many opportunities for us to ask lots of questions and talk with them one-on-one. The campus and facilities are beautiful.
My Bullis activities include Model UN, National Honor Society, student ambassador, student tutor, Conduct Review Board, and peer mentor. I’m also on the track and cross-country teams (discus and long jump, and shorter-distance running are my events), and cheerleading, too. I started a new chapter of the organization Educate Girls Globally. I started a chapter in my school in Dubai, and did the same here at Bullis. We have 15 students involved now!
I also have a black belt in taekwondo and take Arabic—I love languages!
Bullis challenges me to reach my highest potential—in academics, in sports, and in leadership. There are opportunities to do a lot and find your passion while being active in the school community. I like to be very involved and busy!
