MS Health and Wellness Program

Middle School Health includes courses in 6th, 7th and 8th grade, which explore age appropriate topics that build on one another each year. The overall strands include Personal Health, Health and Safety, Mental Health and Global Health. Topics within these strands include nutrition, sleep, personal safety, human growth and development, genetics, alcohol and drugs and public health. Middle School Health classes use a collaborative, project based model in order to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills that will positively influence the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors or our students.
