Where Community Becomes Family
Ask any Bullis student what they like most about the School, and most will reply immediately, “The community!”
Whether reflecting on the diversity, the openness, the warmth or just how easy it is to get to know each other and make friends, students value the Bullis community. From celebrating each other’s achievements, to working through challenges and understanding current events, Bullis places a very high priority on both bridging and valuing differences and celebrating our common human experience.
Advisory groups, the Middle School’s Community Day, Experiential Education, the Upper School’s Beyond the Books, Homecoming and Lower School’s morning meetings are just some of the ways we bring students together and build community.
Our core institutional values—integrity, respect, diversity, service and responsibility—guide all interactions and are the foundation for our head of school’s call for everyone to “Lead the Bullis Way.”
