Do you watch It’s Academic or Jeopardy and think “I can do that?” This camp brings all the fun of trivia to improve your knowledge on everything from the capitals of Central America to the emperors of the Roman Empire. The award-winning Bullis School It’s Academic team advisor teaches a range of topics including the arts, sciences, math, literature, history, social sciences and more. On the final day, campers compete in teams to win the BSP Brain Bowl bragging rights and other prizes. Director: Tim Hanson has been a Bullis Social Studies and It’s Academic advisor for the past eleven years. Prior to coming to Bullis, Mr. Hanson was a professor of U.S. and British history at Towson University and the University of Maryland. His historical specialties are World, Transatlantic, and U.S. History. He belongs to numerous historical societies and is a national grader for the AP World exam. Mr. Hanson was born and raised in Idaho, and moved to Maryland in 1991.
