June: Graduation

Senior year starts with the college application process and ends with Commencement at The Music Center at Strathmore Hall. College Counseling at Bullis is all about finding the right school for each student, and encouraging preparation, patience and faith in the process. By June every student is happy with their future destination.

Commencement features an invited speaker in addition to a number of Bullis traditions. Two students speak: the class valedictorian and a student blindly selected by the faculty based on a speech they submit for consideration. Legacy photos capture the familial ties to Bullis across and within generations. Grads receive alumni pins from recent alumni who return for the ceremony. And every grad proudly wears a Bullis medallion along with regalia to formalize their connection and bind them together as a class. And of course, there’s the traditional cap toss!
