In this camp, campers improve strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, speed, power and technique while having fun and learning to work well with partners.
Director: Ali Elias, Bullis head wrestling coach and Maryland Eagles Youth Team assistant coach, has coached for more than 35 years in the United States, Iran and Germany. In high school, he achieved second place status of Junior World Wrestler, high school world champion and World Shoot Fighting Champion. He has experience in collegiate, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling styles. A six-time Iranian national champion and a two-time NCAA Division II national champion for the University of Nebraska at Kearney, he is in the NCAA II Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Assistant Director: Bullis Assistant Wrestling Coach Chris Brown wrestled, graduated and coached at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He was a twelve-time All Air Force Greco-Roman Champion and a ten-time All Air Force Freestyle Champion. Coach Brown won the 2014 and 2016 World Veteran's Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia and Seinäjoki, Finland. Coach Brown is a current eight-time U.S. National Wrestling Champion and an eight-time World Veteran's medalist. Coach Brown serves as the Maryland National Team Assistant Coach and the Head Coach of Maryland Eagles Youth Team. He has over 35 years coaching experience at international, national, college, high school and youth levels.
