Archery

Shoot arrows with the skill of Katniss from The Hunger Games! Campers develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and listening skills as they practice proper shooting form and fundamentals. Campers learn proper technique, etiquette, and safety for a well-rounded view of archery as a sport, skill, and art – it really hits the target for any camper!

Director: Returning director Bob Reynolds has been teaching Health and Physical Education in Montgomery County schools for over 20 years. With over 30 years’ experience in shooting both compound and traditional bows, Mr. Reynolds currently holds a Level 1 Certification from the USA Archery and the National Field Archery associations. A veteran camp director, Mr. Reynolds has also taught camps at Congressional Country Club, Gettysburg College, and Martha’s Vineyard. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family
