Electronics Workshop

Tinkerers and builders welcome! Campers explore the underlying technology of our modern world and learn to use soldering tools to build a circuit. Discover how radios work by building both an AM broadcast radio receiver and a lowpower, AM broadcast transmitter. The transmitter can even be heard on the receiver that the camper builds! Learn to read electronic-circuit schematics and how to use electronics test instruments. Taught by members of the Montgomery Amateur Radio Club, campers learn how to operate a ham radio station to communicate with people all over the world!
