Maker Studio

Build, tinker, and investigate! Using the vast tools of the Bullis BITlab, campers explore their passions and think creatively as they design and build almost anything! From programming to furniture building, campers experiment with a variety of maker skills, participate in group challenges, and spend time working on their own personal projects. Campers learn the "Maker Method" of rapid prototyping, learning by doing, evaluating, and redesigning. By the end of the week, campers have projects to take home, electronics to tinker with, and ideas for the future.

Director: Matt Zigler is an artist and maker. He has shown his creative projects in galleries and exhibitions around the country, including the 2018 World Maker Faire at the New York Hall of Science. Matt teaches Making at Bullis and coordinates the Bullis Innovation and Technology Lab (BITlab) Makerspace and Fab Lab. He has his MFA in Painting from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
