Wilderness & Adventure

Ropes courses, hiking, and scavenger hunts, oh my! Get ready to explore the great outdoors through a combination of wilderness adventures, orienteering, and team-building games that instill confidence, friendship, and a love for the outdoors. Campers learn the fundamentals of hiking using trail maps, compasses, and natural boundaries as guides. Outdoor fun may include scavenger hunts, wilderness capture the flag, climbing, and ropes courses. Campers also get a chance to cool down through various water adventures like canoeing or swimming at a lake. The camp session ends with a visit to Sandy Spring Adventure Park, the largest aerial forest adventure park in North America, where campers experience zip lines, climbing, and a variety of obstacles.
