Bullis National History Day Competition

Last week, Bullis hosted the Upper School National History Night. We are pleased to announce that 40 students from the Class of 2024 will advance to the Montgomery County National History Day Contest, which will take place on Saturday, March 4, at Northwood High School.

In the category of Individual Exhibits, five entries will advance to the county competition:

  1. Peter A., “The Wright Brothers: The Frontier of Aviation”
  2. Liwen Y., “Vivien Thomas: A Pioneer Who Transformed Cardiac Surgery”
  3. Alexa B., “How We Live: The Architectural Frontier of Frank Lloyd Wright”
  4. Shara Z., “Defeating the Poliovirus: The Frontier of the 20th Century Vaccines”
  5. Zachary C., “Motown: How it Changed the American Music Industry”

In the category of Group Exhibits, five entries will advance to the county competition:

In the category of Individual Websites, two entries will advance to the county competition:

In the category of Group Documentaries, five entries will advance to counties:
