Next Week Parents Association Grants Will Be Announced
Enrichment grants to help fund enhancement projects

Every year, the Parents Association (PA) sponsors enrichment grants to help fund enhancement projects in support of faculty and the Bullis curriculum. By funding several creative opportunities proposed by faculty members each year, the PA grants further educational exploration and experiences to directly benefit teachers and students. In previous years, grants have funded visiting authors, artists and writers in residence, workshops in dance, arts, technology, robotics, educational research, and much more.
Each fall the Parents Association reviews grant proposals from faculty in a variety of subjects, awarding grants for the school year. Last year's PA grants included the Middle School "Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow" mosaic with artist Arturo Ho, the photographic exhibit "Building Bridges," the Lower School Monarch and Butterfly Garden, and several other outstanding projects.
The Parents Association Grants Committee met recently to review and discuss this year's grant proposals, which include suggestions for a writer in residence, classroom libraries, a community cookbook, a Shakespeare workshop, a motivational speaker, and a virtual reality tour among others.
The 2018-2019 grant awards will be announced next week.
