In a powerful tribute to Bullis sixth grader Jackson Payne Buckner, who passed away unexpectedly in 2023, nearly 2,000 pounds of food were recently delivered to Jackson’s Pantry at the National Center for Children and Families (NCFF) in Bethesda. Created by the Buckner family and his classmates to honor Jackson’s generous spirit, the pantry has already provided over 7,000 pounds of food to local families since opening in March.

The latest donation was made possible through a heartfelt community partnership with Nando’s Peri-Peri and the United Way, supported by Jackson’s friends, family, and members of the Bullis community.
