Four Middle School Students Receive Awards in the National Mythology Exam "Pegasus" Division

In April, several Middle School students took the National Mythology Exam in the Pegasus division, which is given annually to over 6,000 students in approximately 300 schools nationally and internationally. In preparation for the exam, students met virtually to read classical myths and epics, including a selection from Homer's Odyssey.
The results are in — four of our Bullis students received awards!
In 6th grade, Emmanuel B. earned cum laude, Alisane B. earned magna cum laude with a ribbon (a previous Bronze Medal winner), and Anastasia P. earned summa cum laude with a Gold Medal.

In 8th grade, Sepanta A. earned maxima cum laude with a Silver Medal.

About the National Mythology Exams
The National Mythology Exams consist of the Pegasus Mythology Exam, which is intended for students in grades 3-8, and the Medusa Mythology Exam, which is intended for students in grades 9-12. The National Mythology Exams are given annually to over 9,000 students in approximately 400 schools nationally and internationally.
