Connor Davis '21: From Bullis to Bucknell on the Verge of Making Lacrosse History
Connor Davis '21 making lacross history

In an inspiring journey from a football family to the forefront of Bucknell lacrosse, Connor Davis, Bullis Class of 2021, has emerged as a standout player on the brink of breaking the program's all-time scoring record. With a powerful start to his senior season, Connor has already netted 29 goals, positioning himself as the No. 2 scorer in Division I lacrosse.

Growing up in the lacrosse-mad state of Maryland, Connor first picked up a stick at the age of three doing scoopers. He recalls hating it at first – the helmet and gear weren't for him – but today, he's thankful his mom and dad made him stick with it. Things got more competitive around the age of seven, and Connor's core group of teammates stayed together through club lacrosse and at Bullis School, a lacrosse power in the D.C. suburb of Potomac. Connor was part of a Bullis squad that won a national championship in 2019.

As he approaches the legendary record of 138 goals set by Hall-of-Famer Justin Zackey, Connor reflects on his journey and the impact of his close-knit family and supportive teammates.
