Bullis Team Wins First Place in University of the District of Columbia Capital Cup Entrepreneurship Competition

For the second year in a row, a team of Bullis students won first place in the international UCD Capital Cup Entrepreneurship Competition sponsored by The CIBER at Georgia Tech and the Department of Education. 

Seniors from the Class of 2024, Ryan T., Nathan C., and Ashley H., entered their start-up, EarlyPath, and walked away with the grand prize after presenting their business plan and oral presentation this summer. Nathan, Ryan, and Ashley developed EarlyPath to help students find internships and summer jobs. They developed a robust website with input from Bullis administrators, faculty, and parents. Early Path provides students with opportunities to be exposed to different businesses and career paths. 

Maria Antokas, Director of the Entrepreneurship program, is very proud of the Early Path team. “Ryan, Nathan, and Ashley worked very hard on this start-up. They are committed to helping students explore their passions by finding them opportunities in the real world and experiencing potential career paths. Winning this competition validates their business model. This is very exciting for them and a proud moment for Bullis!”
