Bullis Students Lead by Example - Business Gives Back Club
May is National Foster Care Month, a time to recognize that we can each play a part in enhancing the lives of children and youth in foster care. To raise awareness, the Bullis Upper School Business Gives Back (BGB) club partnered with @love.n.friendship to host a drive to donate items to Comfort Cases — a non-profit organization that provides backpacks full of comforting items to babies, children, and teens entering foster care.
For five weeks, the BGB club of 80 students collected a vast assortment of items to transform more than 30 everyday backpacks into 'Comfort Cases' to support children in the foster care system.
The Bullis community was so generous in donating items to this drive — thank you for all of your support! 🎒 Also, thank you to the Business Gives Back club Founder and President Sloane B. '21 and Club Co-Vice Presidents Summer B. '24 and Aleka F. '22, along with Lexi B. '23 for organizing this event.
It has been an amazing experience to be a part of the Business Gives Back Club at Bullis. I was so excited when they reached out to me to work with Love.n.friendship! Lexi B. '23
