Bullis Alumnus Derrick Tangelo '17 Continues Coaching Journey at Virginia Tech

Congratulations to Bullis alumnus Derrick Tangelo ’17 on his appointment to the Virginia Tech football coaching staff.

A standout student-athlete during his time at Bullis, Tangelo helped lead the Bulldogs to two conference championships before continuing his playing career at Duke, Penn State, and professionally with the Atlanta Falcons organization and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. After serving as an assistant coach at Bullis and a graduate assistant at Troy University, he now takes the next step in his coaching journey with the Hokies.

We are proud to see Derrick continue to make an impact in the game and wish him continued success at Virginia Tech.
