Thirty-Eight Bullis Juniors Compete in Montgomery County History Day
On Saturday, 38 Bullis juniors, from the Class of 2024, competed in Montgomery County History Day held at Northwood High School in Silver Spring. There were dozens of students representing 10 area high schools in the Senior Division.
The top two entries in each category advance to the state competition, to be held at the University of Maryland Baltimore County on Saturday, May 6.
We are proud of all of our historians, and are pleased to announce that these seven students are advancing:
- Senior Group Performance: 2nd Place, Brayden F. and Jamie M., "Jordan Belfort Interview."
- Senior Group Documentary: 2nd Place, Nathan C. and Ryan T., "Disney: A Frontier in Culture and Animation."
- Senior Individual Documentary: 2nd Place, Bennett R., "The Credit Mobilier Scandal: On the Frontier of Economic Corruption in America."
- Senior Individual Exhibit: 2nd Place, Liwen Y., "Vivien Thomas: A Pioneer Who Transformed Cardiac Surgery."
- Senior Individual Exhibit: 1st Place, Peter A., "The Wright Brothers: The Frontier of Aviation."
