Six Bullis Students Advance to the Maryland History Day Competition
Six Bullis students advance to National History Day State Competition

Nine high schools were represented at the Montgomery County National History Day 2022 Competition in the Senior Category, with 487 students competing. Bullis School had nine students from the Class of 2023 compete, and six of our students won first or second place in the following categories.

  • Senior Group Exhibits: First Place
    Lexi G. and Maison M. for their exhibit entitled "Hammer v. Dagenhart."

  • Senior Individual Websites: First Place
    Amberly X. for her website on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
    Teacher: Dr. Wellington
  • Senior Group Websites: First Place
    Charlie Y. and Julia Z. for their website on the "League of Nations."
    Teacher: Dr. Romeyn
  • Senior Individual Exhibits: Second Place
    Sage S. for her exhibit "The Invisible Empire of the South."
    Teacher: Mr. Hanson

Congratulations to these six 11th graders who will now advance to the Maryland State History Day Competition on April 30, 2022 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
