The world of high school theater is buzzing with excitement as eight talented Upper School students from Bullis School prepare for an extraordinary journey to the renowned 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, famously known as the Fringe, in Scotland this August. Performing six shows, these young performers will showcase their skills on an international stage with their production, "Pandora: A Tragicomic Greek Romp." This captivating exploration of timeless themes promises to engage audiences near and far.

Before taking the stage in Edinburgh, the cast will perform "Pandora" on campus in the Trone Center's Studio Theater. Performances are scheduled for Friday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. This special run offers the Bullis community a chance to experience the magic of their performance before the festival.

The outstanding ensemble includes Alisa Ross '27 as Pandora, Abe Gold '27 as Nikodemos, Anastasiya Swift '28 as Philo, Juliet Wade '27 as Eris, Sebastian "Sebby" Schroth '27 as Megas, Kylie Works '27 as Arche, Eitan Skolnick '27 as Diophobos, and Callum MacMaster '28 as the Chorus Leader. With such a diverse and dedicated group, the presentation is set to celebrate the exuberance and complexity of youthful creativity.

Rehearsals for "Pandora" have been underway since early March, guided by the visionary direction of Ms. Chelsie King. Ms. King and our young actors have been diligently working to bring the story to life, weaving in themes of love, resilience, and the choices that shape us. The cast's hard work and commitment highlight their individual talents and the spirit of collaboration that defines high school theater.

A dedicated group of students is working behind the scenes to ensure that the performances run smoothly. Led by Technical Director Mx. Felix Clarke, the Tech Crew sets the stage for the actors and creative teams. Taylor Smith '25 serves as the Stage Manager, coordinating the performance, while Noah Yablonsky '26 oversees scenic design. Talia Sachs '28 designs costumes that bring the characters to life, and Kayden Sattin '26 leads the carpentry efforts. Grae Greenleaf '25 is the Symbol Designer and Carpenter, with Abigail Lombardo '26 assisting in costume design and carpentry. The team, supported by talented carpenters Jake Looney '25, Nick Hill '25, Russell Pita '27, William Lippard '25, and Zach White '25, collaborates to create a seamless experience that showcases the talents of our student technicians.
