Trip: Culture and Food History of Taiwan

Overview
On this unique trip to Taiwan, students will have a chance to learn about the history and the multi-cultural influence of Taiwan through its food. With influences of Japan and Portuguese, many dishes and desserts in Taiwan provide students with an additional twist to Chinese cuisine. Additionally, students will enjoy the natural beauty of Taiwan while exploring the authentic Chinese culture in the aspects of Chinese language, history, religions, architecture styles, tea culture, indigenous culture and the different educational system.
