Follow these step-by-step instructions to apply as an International Student.
Begin the application process by clicking "submit inquiry" to fill out the inquiry form and to set up an account in the Admission Portal.
You will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to:
a. Confirm your Admission Portal account.
b. Submit your application.
Once you have submitted your inquiry and received an email with your login/password and application instructions, you may submit your application through the Admission Portal.
Applications must be received by the application deadline.
- Supplemental materials will continue to be accepted after this date.
- Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.
While Bullis is closed due to the Coronavirus, we encourage families to view our virtual tour and schedule a virtual interview by calling 301-983-5724.
During the Coronavirus, we are waiving the testing requirements for applicants to Bullis.
Using the Admission Portal application user ID and password you can check the status of your application. All families are expected to follow the status of their child’s application online in the Admission Portal.
Please check this regularly to ensure that your forms have been received and your application file is complete before the application deadline.
Application Period for School Year 2020-2021
Bullis is accepting applications on a rolling basis for remaining spaces for the 2020-21 academic year.

In the Bullis Admission Office we strive for one thing in working with all of our prospective families: a personal connection with the applying student and a partnership with parents. Our process focuses on the whole student, not just test scores or transcripts. We feel that the personal relationships that we build throughout the admission process are the beginning of forging community ties that continue once you are officially a member of the Bullis family. You won’t be a number here, but a familiar face who will always be greeted by a warm smile.
International students follow all of the same application guidelines as our local applicants. We welcome visits to the Bullis campus—however, please call for an appointment at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival so that we may best accommodate your request.
