Three Bullis alumni were celebrated during our Friday Homecoming festivities and inducted into the Bullis Athletics Hall of Fame. Congratulations to these talented alumni on their accomplishments.

Theodore "Ted" Kukowski was a standout three-sport athlete at Bullis, earning varsity letters in football, basketball, and baseball during his two years at the school. A member of the 1947 Bullis Prep football team, Ted helped lead the squad to a co-championship season that included victories over both the Navy and Army plebe teams.

In 1949, Ted was named Bullis Outstanding Athlete in recognition of his exceptional accomplishments across multiple sports. He served as captain of the football team, was a consistent scoring leader on the basketball team, and provided strong leadership on the baseball field.

After Bullis, Ted attended the United States Naval Academy before transferring to Syracuse University, where he played three seasons of football. At Syracuse, he earned the team's Most Valuable Player award in 1953 and was selected to the All-Eastern Team by the football writers association.

Following his outstanding collegiate career, Ted was drafted by the National Football League's New York Giants, capping a remarkable athletic journey that began at Bullis.
