Sebastian Astrada '98

"Sebbie" is one the best lacrosse players to have graduated from Bullis. As a senior captain he led the team to a top-20 ranking by The Washington Post, was selected 1st Team All-County by The Journal, The Gazette and The Almanac and 1st team All-Met by The Washington Post. The Almanac also selected him as Defensive Player of the Year. He earned All-IAC honors and was also named a high school All-American.

Sebbie went on to play for Middlebury College where he helped them win three NCAA Division III Championships ('00, '01, '02) and amass a record of 65-5. Middlebury head coach Erin Quinn said that "Sebbie was a great fit for our program. He was a dynamic player whose stick skills and athletic ability were well suited for Middlebury's program." These qualities helped Sebbie earn 1st team All-American honors as a senior.
