Dear Upper School Bullis Families,
We hope this email finds you safe, healthy, and enjoying your summer! We understand that many of you have questions on what Bullis athletics will look like this fall and throughout the year. Please know there have been many meetings and conversations that have been taking place for several months now deciding on what is best for our students, schools, and other communities at both the league level and at Bullis.
Please see the links below detailing plans for league competitions and upcoming athletic seasons. It is important to note that this represents the decisions from each league and does not specifically give details about what each school is going to do outside of these seasons. We plan to have more detailed information to share with all of you by mid-August. We are taking our reopening plans into consideration as we finalize our athletic plans.
We understand that you may have more questions after reading our letter and league announcement. Now that we have confirmation from the leagues about athletic seasons, we can create a plan for our students and Bullis families. We can officially inform you at this time that pre-season practices will not occur as scheduled in August. Rest assured that we will always keep the safety of our students as our top priority in planning our future athletic activities and events.
Bullis Athletics thanks you for your support and understanding as we maneuver through these challenges. One of our goals is to provide a positive experience for our students and to provide them with athletic options and opportunities while following CDC standards as well as the rules and regulations of our state, county, and Bullis School.
