Bullis Track Takes Center Stage at 2025 New Balance Indoor Nationals

Bullis, which has grown into one of the top high school track programs in the country over the past decade, capped off the 2025 New Balance Indoor Nationals in fitting fashion on Sunday.
Among the many standout local athletes competing at the national event in Boston last weekend, Bullis and its stars continued to shine the brightest.
Bullis achieved six national championship titles:
- Boys' 4x400-Meter Relay: Cameron Homer '27, Alexander Lambert '25, Colin Abrams '25, and Quincy Wilson '26 won the national title and broke their own high school record by over two seconds with a time of 3:09.44.
- Girls' 4x400-Meter Relay: Tatum Lynn '25, Kennedy Brown '27, Morgan Rothwell '25, and Sydney Sutton '25 won the national title and set a new high school record with a time of 3:35.54, improving by more than two seconds.
- Boys' 1,600-Meter Sprint Medley Relay: Christopher Tangelo '26, Shaeed Demetrius '27, Alexander Lambert '25, and Colin Abrams '25 won the national title with a high school record time of 3:23.41.
- Girls' Shuttle Hurdle: Solai Russell '27, Kassidy Hopkins '26, Gabby White '25, Tatum Lynn '25 claimed the national title with a meet-record time of 31.36.
- Boys' 400-Meter: Quincy Wilson '26 won the national title with a meet-record time of 45.71, just five-hundredths off his own high school and world under-18 record.
- Girls' 400-Meter: Sydney Sutton '25 became the national champion with a meet-record time of 52.75.
Notable Rankings
- Girls' 60-Meter Hurdles: Kassidy Hopkins '26 finished second in the final with a time of 8.25.
- Girls' 60-Meter: Payton Payne '25 finished second in the final with a time of 7.34.
- Girls' 4x200-Meter Relay: Malay Arpon '28, Parker Coes '28, Chrishelle Campbell '28, and Alexis Brown '26 came in second in the final with a time of 1:36.95.
