What grades did you attend Bullis? What year did you graduate?
4th–12th grades; Class of ‘10

Where did you attend college and what is your occupation?
Temple University, Fox School of Business; Communications & Marketing Professional

What activities or classes were most memorable for you as you reflect on your time at Bullis?
Field Hockey, of course! I played from 6th-12th grade. I also loved ceramics.

How did Bullis best prepare you for college and beyond?
Bullis was critical in creating a foundation for the strong study habits and research skills I still possess. I was far beyond many of my classmates with those skill sets and it has continued to be a solid foundation throughout my professional career.

Please tell us about what you have been doing since graduating from Bullis.
I have been doing many things! Where should I start...

I am a proud alumnus of Temple University and obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business Administration (#templemade). I’ve studied abroad in Argentina and Vietnam, but DC is my hometown and once I graduated that’s where I decided to plant my career roots. I've travelled to awesome places and many have caught me across bars throughout the city as a bartender in restaurants and nightlife venues!

I currently work full time as a Communications Consultant for a leading consultancy and solutions provider to the public and commercial sectors. Most importantly, my passion project turned business 3D Vision is thriving and I support several Black-owned small businesses communications, branding, and marketing needs from the beauty to sports apparel industries.

Which part of your journey has been most rewarding?
It has been most rewarding to get to enjoy the things I used to pray for. Life is so quick and when milestones or goals are achieved, it is crucial to celebrate and reflect on those moments and what it took to get there. Also, being a driver and building a path for my family is dear to my heart.

What would you say to Bullis students who are currently on their journey to finding purpose?
The journey to finding your purpose never ends and is always ever-changing. It's okay to not know it all now. Follow your gut and heart and always use sound judgement.

Who is someone that inspires you and how?
My mom! She put me through Bullis as a young and single Black woman. She introduced me to an opportunity that forever changed the landscape and blueprint of my life.

What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?
The digital divide. I see myself and particularly 3D Vision combatting this issue by being a resource for information and connecter to resources.

Why would you tell a prospective family to choose Bullis?
The well-roundedness one receives from Bullis is unmatched. Bullis is the go-to place for education, sports, arts, and networking.
