Bullis hosted the 6th Annual Captain Brian Matthew "Bubba" Bunting '98 Memorial Dual Meet Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, January 22, with a total of six schools in attendance. We welcomed back members of the Bunting family, including Bubba's brother Chris, sisters Stephanie and Kimmy, his wife Nicki, and their two children, Connor and Cooper. Nicki, Connor, and Cooper handed out the awards at the conclusion of the event.

To start the event, senior Tallion Elliott '22 welcomed everyone, Associate Head of School, Tim Simpson, expressed personal connections to Bubba and the Bunting family, and Andres Parra '99 thanked all of the volunteers and coaches for making the event run smoothly.

It was nice to have everyone on campus for a wrestling event hosted for the first time in two years. Gonzaga won the team championship going 5-0 on the day. Joe Couch ‘22 from Bullis won the fastest pin in 16 seconds and the most pins with 5 pins in 5 matches.
