Melissa F. (Sherman) Hausfeld '97

Professional Background: Melissa F. (Sherman) Hausfeld '97 has been a content producer, writer, and digital media creator for over 15 years. Her credits include Animal Planet, National Geographic, the World Bank, plus many non-profits and local businesses. In addition to the Bullis Alumni Board, Melissa currently serves on the Board of Congregation Beth El, The Capital Jewish Museum, and Piney Branch Motors, Inc. Melissa and her husband Josh, are also proud Bullis parents.

Current Occupation: Bullis School Board of Trustee member since 2014 and Chair of the Bullis Advancement Committee.

Professional Background: Claudia has been a member of the Bullis Parents Association where she has worked in all school divisions - Lower, Middle, and Upper School. In 2019, Claudia was a part of the Head of School Search Committee and chaired the Bullis Gala in 2017. From 1992 to 1998, Claudia developed and managed Fair Oaks Golf Park in Fairfax, VA. Claudia currently chairs the Washington Hebrew Congregation Second Sunday Soup Kitchen Program. As an active community member, Claudia volunteers and supports different youth organizations in Montgomery County.

Before joining IAC, Mr. Bannister worked as a Head of Global Real Estate and Workplace at The Carlyle Group, and prior to that was a Managing Director at The Advisory Board Company (now Optum, a UnitedHealth Group company).
