  • What grade did you start at Bullis?
  • I have been attending Bullis since the 6th grade.

  • What classes have you most enjoyed at Bullis and why?
  • The class I have most enjoyed at Bullis so far has been Honors Functions. This is a math course and it is my favorite mainly because of how math is taught as a story. In this class, I am thoroughly challenged and I also get a deep understanding of new mathematical concepts as well as the stories behind them.

  • What activities do you participate in at Bullis?
  • I participate in activities such as the Bullis Musical, Model UN club, Student Government, and volleyball. In addition, outside of school I participate in a theatre performance company at Adventure Theatre.

  • What do you like most about the Bullis community?
  • What I like most about the Bullis community is how close knit everyone is. There is always a friendly face in the hallway waiting to greet you because our community is truly a family at heart.

  • What are you most passionate about and why?
  • I am most passionate about learning new things. I love learning in all aspects of life. Whether it is in or outside of school I love being able to ask questions and find solutions to problems. In addition, I love trying new things. I enjoy seeing new places and having new experiences from trying a new food to visiting another country. This is because I believe that learning new things and having different experiences can give you more perspectives subsequently making you a more well rounded person.

  • What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?
  • A global challenge I would like to see tackled is implicit bias, specifically in the medical field. I would love to have the opportunity to combat this challenge by becoming a surgeon and making sure doctors receive implicit bias training as well as that patients of all different backgrounds receive equal treatment.

  • Why Bullis?
  • Bullis is a caring, challenging, community. This is apparent in the way the teachers and students all care and are kind to each other and in the way that teachers push their students to be the best they can be. In addition, Bullis is a family where every member is valued and appreciated.
