What role or roles do you play at Bullis? If you are teaching faculty, what do you teach?
As the Technology Coordinator, I support teachers and students in using technology in the classroom. As the Lower School design teacher, I work with students on making, building, coding, and robotics. And as the Assistant Head of Lower School, I help pretty much everyone in anything!
What made you decide to work in an educational setting?
I love teaching students in the young ages, when they're building the basic skills and attitudes that will be the foundation for lifelong learning.
What is your favorite thing about working at Bullis?
Bullis has a supportive community of teachers and parents. In addition, I love its emphasis on developing the whole person in each child.
When not at Bullis, what interests do you pursue?
I read a lot of history and biography books. I'm a fan of the 4C's: Crossword Puzzles, CrossFit, Cincinnati Reds, and Coffee!
What is the best book or production that you have read, watched, or listened to lately?
The movie rendition of Hamilton - while I was fortunate enough to see a production in Chicago, seeing and hearing the original Broadway cast in a format that took advantage of the power of the camera opened up a new way to experience it.
What is one fun fact about you that others may not know or may surprise them?
I can walk on my hands.
