How long have you been at Bullis?

Since 1998

What role or roles do you play at Bullis? If you are teaching faculty, what do you teach? 

Director of Technology, teaching Math or Technology courses

What made you decide to work in an educational setting? 

Being an educator was something that I wanted to do from a very early age. I just really enjoyed my teachers and wanted to be one of them.

What is your favorite thing about working at Bullis?

The fact that we are always striving to be better. That we are open to new ideas and willing to change over time.

When not at Bullis, what interests do you pursue?

Reading, camping, cooking.

Who is someone that inspires you and how?

My grandfather who always taught me to be kind, open to everyone, and to work hard to be better every day.

What is the best book or production that you have read, watched, or listened to lately? 

Eisenhower in War and Peace by Jean Edward Smith.

What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?

Climate Change: Through the way that my family and I make careful decisions about our impact and through our support of conservation efforts.

What is one fun fact about you that others may not know or may surprise them?

My bachelor's degree is in history.
