Middle School Math Teacher, 8th Grade Coordinator, Assistant Varsity Girls Soccer Coach
What made you decide to work in an educational setting?
I love working with children. Specifically, I wanted to inspire children to love math.
What is your favorite thing about working at Bullis?
I get to play a lot of different roles other than a teacher at Bullis. At Bullis, I am an advisor, a coach, an administrator in my division, and host a baking club. I am allowed the freedom to pursue my passions both in and outside of the classroom.
When not at Bullis, what interests do you pursue?
I love to bake. I love to play and watch sports (mostly soccer). I love to spend time with my husband and our dog, Sheena. Together, we enjoy hiking and going to wineries/breweries. I also share a huge passion for trying new food.
What is the best book or production that you have read, watched, or listened to lately?
The Rosie Project Series by Graeme Simsion
What is one fun fact about you that others may not know or may surprise them?
I love to travel and miss it desperately since COVID. I lived in South Africa for 6 months while studying abroad in college.
Why would you tell a prospective family to choose Bullis?
