Among many classes I took at Bullis, Ms. Dougherty's Honors English II, Ms. Yen' s Honors Biology, and Mr. Moreau's Honors Functions as well as the choral ensembles I participated in at Bullis were most memorable for me as they all provided appropriate level of challenges and made me achieve personal growth. I also enjoyed musicals, cross-country, and swimming as I achieved unexpected growth through those activities as well.

Bullis equipped me with strong critical-thinking and analysis skills, helping me to take on greater challenges in college.

I have participated in various organizations at Northwestern, which include an East-Asian a cappella group. I also served as the Peer Advisor for incoming students at Northwestern during sophomore year.

Which part of your journey has been most rewarding?
Learning about what I want to do, what I am passionate about has been most rewarding. Exploring new ideas and disciplines also brings unexpected rewards.

What would you say to Bullis students who are currently on their journey to finding purpose?
Take your time and it is ok if you haven't found it yet. I am still finding my "purpose" so really, take your time.

Who is someone that inspires you and how?
Ms. Mayer-Sattin from Bullis inspired me by talking about the brutality and rewarding nature of pursuing a career in music, which made me major in music at Northwestern.

What is the best book or production that you have read, watched, or listened to lately?
I really enjoyed a documentary on China's "Gaokao" (College Entrance Exam).

What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?
I would like to make sure children all over the world receive quality education and I can contribute to this positive change by tackling my job with a sense of pride and mission.
