  • What grade are you currently in and how long have you been a student at Bullis?
  • I am currently in 11th grade and this is my third year being a student at Bullis.

  • What classes have you most enjoyed at Bullis and why?
  • One of my favorite classes that I have most enjoyed at Bullis was Honors English II with Mr. Rau. In the class we explored new ways of thinking, did exciting projects that related to the books we were reading, and learned better ways to express ourselves through language.

  • What activities do you participate in at Bullis?
  • Some activities that I have participated in at Bullis have been KEEN, UNICEF Club, Business Gives Back Club, Student Government, Girls Who Start, Student Ambassadors, Student Tutors, varsity soccer, and JV lacrosse. Outside of school, I was one of the co-candidates for the 2020 SOY Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

  • What do you like most about the Bullis community?
  • The thing I like most about the Bullis community is how supportive my teachers and classmates are. If I am ever struggling in a class, it is always easy to reach out and get the help that I need. Teachers host office hours after school and there are also programs like student tutoring that have helped me so much.

  • What are you most passionate about and why?
  • I am very passionate about helping other people. This is why I joined KEEN, became a student ambassador, and helped raise funds for LLS. Bullis has helped me gain the confidence to push myself further than I thought I could go.

  • What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?
  • A global challenge that I would like to see tackled is finding a cure for cancer. My grandmother died of cancer as did several close family friends. This encouraged me to help raise money to find a cure and is an activity that I plan to continue for years to come.

  • Why Bullis?
  • Bullis is all about balance. Students maintain rigorous academic schedules and also participate in various other activities and clubs. There is a choice for everyone based on their interests. Teachers know how to challenge as well as uplift their students to achieve their potential.
