  • What grade are you currently in and how long have you been a student at Bullis?
  • I am in the 12th grade and have been at Bullis since 3rd grade.

  • What classes have you most enjoyed at Bullis and why?
  • Over my time at Bullis, I have enjoyed many classes.

In Lower School, I enjoyed the Entrepreneurial Fair. This class was a great way for teachers to introduce children into the world of entrepreneurship.

In Middle School, my favorite class was Orchestra with Ms. Mayer Satin. I was able to partake in many concerts and opportunities. My fondest memory is when I played for the residents at the Potomac Manor Care.

In Upper School, my favorite classes were Honors Chemistry, PreCalculus, and AP Microeconomics. In Honors Chemistry with Dr.Terbush, I was able to complete many experiments using equipment real chemists use in a lab that was envied by a lot of college students. In PreCalculus, Mrs.Turret was able to connect students from math to the real world. Not only did we learn how to analyze the data we were given, we were asked to create our own problems, connecting our own lives to math. In AP Microeconomics, Dr. Narcisenfeld helped me learn the ins and outs of a firm's decision making process. I am so blessed to have had so many amazing teachers.

  • What activities do you participate in at Bullis?
  • I am a member of the Bullis football team, I play basketball, I play cello in the Upper School Orchestra, I am a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society, and I am a fan of many student athletes and artists.

  • What are you most passionate about and why?
  • There are many things I am passionate about. I am passionate about my faith and my family. I am passionate about my athletics. I miss being able to play with my friends each day preparing for the next game. The competition each week is what drives me to get better. I am passionate about helping others. Last year, I was able to organize the lower school and upper school students to write messages of hope on soccer balls to the youth in Nigeria who were not so privileged.

  • What global challenge would you like to see tackled and how do you see yourself contributing to the positive change that you desire?
  • A global challenge I would like to help tackle is childhood cancer and breast cancer. My grandmother recently passed away with complications with breast cancer. Just seeing what my grandmother had to go through and knowing other children have to go through the same makes me want to help.

  • What do you like most about the Bullis community?
  • I consider the Bullis community as a part of my family. I like that we come together to support each other.
