Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and Rosh Hashanah
Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15 to October 15, celebrates the significant contributions of the Hispanic, Latino, and Latinx communities in the United States. This month provides us with the opportunity to honor the rich histories, cultures, and traditions that have shaped our society.
We also wish our Jewish community a Happy Rosh Hashanah! Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins at sundown on October 2 and is celebrated through October 3. This sacred holiday marks the start of the High Holy Days, a period of deep reflection, repentance, and renewal.
At Bullis, celebrating the diverse cultures within our community is central to our core values of Caring, Challenging, and Community. We believe that by embracing our differences and learning from one another, we foster a more inclusive and compassionate environment for all. We are proud to have such a vibrant and diverse community, and we look forward to honoring these and other important cultural events throughout the year. Join us as we celebrate the rich heritage of both our students and faculty!
