Summer Programs

Boys’ Basketball Camp

This outstanding basketball camp is in its sixteenth year. Our camp motto is “Basketball players play during the winter; basketball players are made during the summer.”

This camp stresses the fundamental skills of basketball. A typical camp day will feature three games, a daily contest, a ball-handling session (every camper will have a ball in his hands), a “fundamental of the day” session, daily contests, and a video session. Campers will be placed on a team of no more than 10 players, based on their age and level of experience.

Each camper will be provided with a tee shirt, workout program to continue after camp (“play the sixth day”), and a report card on his basketball strengths and areas to improve upon. The camp will have an awards ceremony on the last day of each session.

Enrollment is limited. Please sign up early. Due to the size of the camp, no special requests for teams can be honored.

“Our goal is for each camper to say to his parents at the end of the week ‘I had fun … I made friends … I learned new skills to improve my game.’ If each camper says that, we had a great week of camp.” Bruce Kelley, Director, Boys’ Basketball
